What to expect at the PPMA Show 2021

The first major live PPMA event returns this month with the PPMA Show 2021! And we’re excited to attend because its a welcome return to in person events for a lot of the industry.

The PPMA Show 2021 is the UK’s biggest packaging and processing machinery event. And this year – after a break since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic – the show’s organisers are really focusing on supporting the processing and packaging sectors. Both in recovering and looking to the future.

According to PPMA audience research, 70% of survey respondents say they now view trade shows “as an essential platform for reviewing and making future product purchases”.

Show Director Richard Little says: “The overwhelming consensus among those within the industry is that they want to see the return of live events. Particularly in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors. These sectors generate over half the visitors, many of whom have been working flat out to support the critical supply chain during the Coronavirus pandemic, and subsequently have a keen interest in the latest machinery and equipment.”

This year the PPMA Show 2021 will bring together more than 250 exhibitors and around 8,000 visitors.
